Training programme on ‘Implementation of Soft and Hard Interventions in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Clusters’ is being organized by National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (ni-msme) here, to help MSMEs understand basic concepts of cluster theory.
The five day program aims at helping MSMEs carry out cluster analysis, prepare Strategic development plan, design and execute soft interventions, recognize issues in implementation of hard interventions, prepare Detailed Project Report (DPR), promote Business Development Service (BDS) providers and know the role of government, development organizations, and NGOs incluster development.
Five day program that will conclude tomorrow consist class room lectures, group discussions and interactive sessions, case studies and presentations and cluster visit.
Clusters are defined as geographical concentration of enterprises, specialized suppliers, service providers and associated institutions and organizations in a particular field that compete but also co-operate.
